West Lancs Canine Centre 2010
I have tried most of the dog training classes across Liverpool and none of them come close to comparing with the fantastic service I have received since joining the West Lancs Canine Centre.
It really is a wonderful place to take your dog. I travel for an hour across Liverpool to get to the centre and it is worth every minute to get there.
The instructors are professional, friendly and really knowledgeable and they always have time to help you with anything you need help with.
Since taking my dog there he has improved beyond belief and we both look forward to our training every week.
I have been taking private lessons with Craig Richardson and he is the best dog trainer I have ever seen.
His knowledge and ability is second to none and he gets fantastic results for me and my dog.
He always goes that little bit extra and makes every lesson the real highlight of our week.
I really cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for us.

Dear Guy & Jean
We would like to say a big thank you to you and your staff who trained our dog Harvey, a Boxer cross who we got from the RSPCA.
He is much better with other dogs now and not as aggressive. We also know how to handle him due to your instructions to us. This has saved us from returning Harvey to the RSPCA.
Thank you once again to West Lancs Canine Centre.

Hi, my name’s Bruno and I live with Kevin, Carol, Amy & Zoë Griffiths.
They took me from the R.S.P.C.A. Southport just about a year ago now. I’d been there for a few months and let me tell you, I was one angry young dog!
At times, I made life difficult for the Griffiths’ – when we went out on the lead, I’d pull as hard as I could. When playing I’d use my teeth, I didn’t like other dogs and as for doing what I was told – well, ever heard of the terrible two’s ? School was calling! In this case Guy and his team.
My new family and I go to Guy’s weekly and it’s been a hard road at times – I even heard them say several times in the early days that I would have to go back if I didn’t improve! But as times like that, they still didn’t give up but rang Guy for advice and he is only too willing to help in any way he can.
Guy has trained not only me but my family too and we now all enjoy going for walks (I still get a little over excited at times), like to play and love nothing more than cuddling up at night on the sofa with my family. They are really proud of me now and say they wouldn’t be without me. Even when they have to go away without me, I go and stay with Guy, so they know I’m well looked after and won’t sulk when they come back.
Thanks to Guy and his team, I recently passed my Bronze Good Citizen award and am working towards Silver – something I didn’t think or care about in the early days but now I can hold my head up high and am proud to show what I can do. Training sessions are hard work for us all but there are always rewards, especially going over the assault course at the end (but I do wish my family would keep up with me.) I’ve also been for “socialising training”. The idea is that I get used to being with other dogs but really it’s an excuse for me to go and play with other members of the canine world which is great fun (but don’t tell my family!)
The Griffiths’ say that it has been worth every penny taking me to Guy’s and they will continue to do so. Ah well, must go, it’s Saturday and I can hear that Silver award calling! Guy’s here we come.
